WATER BUFFALO, FARMING & FISHING LIFE BY BIKE

Cycle into the countryside around Cam Thanh and step into the daily work of rice farmers and fishermen. Plough a paddy, plant rice seedlings, and ride and feed a water buffalo.

Then head into the coconut palm waterways to fish with local fishermen before making Banh Xeo pancakes for lunch.

📝 PROGRAM

• • Depart from the resort by car to Hoi An, then cycle along narrow country roads to Cam Thanh Village, passing rice paddies and fish and shrimp farms
• • Join local farmers to plough and prepare the field, then plant young rice seedlings
• • Ride a water buffalo and feed it
• • Visit a fisherman’s home to taste coconut jam and tea
• • Explore the water coconut palm forest: Catch fish and crabs with traditional nets, paddle a bamboo basket boat and hear true stories from the war years
• • Lunch at a local home: Learn to make fresh rice milk and cook Hoi An pancakes (Banh Xeo)
• • Return to the resort
