HOI AN CULINARY & BASKET BOAT ADVENTURE

Your experience begins at the local market, where your guide will provide an insightful introduction to traditional Hoi An ingredients used in Vietnamese cuisine. Then, you’ll hop aboard a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and learn how to paddle through the peaceful coconut palm–lined waterways — once a war zone — while hearing stories of the past and the hardships faced by soldiers on both sides.

Afterward, you’ll return to the restaurant, where a 3-course Vietnamese cooking class awaits. Our chefs will first demonstrate how to prepare each dish before you get hands-on and cook your own delicious Vietnamese lunch!

We’ll start with a refreshing cup of Vietnamese tea or mineral water. During the class, you will learn to prepare:
