A few simple rules protect the court surface and keep play safe and pleasant for everyone.
What to wear
Appropriate sports attire and non-marking athletic shoes with soft rubber soles are required. High heels, flip-flops and barefoot play aren’t permitted, as they raise the risk of injury and can damage the surface.
On-court etiquette
Only bottled water and electrolyte drinks are allowed courtside. Food, colored drinks, alcohol and smoking are not permitted around the court. Respect fellow players, keep language friendly, and avoid hitting the surface with rackets or throwing balls aggressively.
Pickleball is a physical sport with inherent risks. Guests play voluntarily and are responsible for their own health and safety. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

Best time to play in Hoi An
Hoi An’s tropical climate means timing matters. Two windows are most comfortable:
Early morning · 06:00-09:00
Cooler air and a calm atmosphere – perfect paired with a sunrise walk before breakfast.
Late afternoon · 16:30-18:30
Pleasant temperatures and golden sunset light – a favorite for families and casual play.
Seasons: February to August generally brings sunny, favorable conditions for outdoor sport. From September to January rain is more frequent, so check the forecast and keep plans flexible.
Things to Do Before and After Your Game
A pickleball session slots neatly into a full Hoi An itinerary.
Before you play: Start with a sunrise walk along Binh Minh Beach or breakfast by the sea, or spend the morning exploring Hoi An Ancient Town before an afternoon match.
After your game: Cool off with a swim, enjoy fresh seafood, or unwind with a spa treatment. In the evening, sunset cocktails and a stroll through the lantern-lit streets round off an active day perfectly.
