🏺 CRAFT VILLAGES ON THE THU BON RIVER

THANH HA POTTERY & KIM BONG CARPENTRY VILLAGES BY BOAT

For centuries, the potters of Thanh Ha and the carpenters of Kim Bong helped build Hoi An. Thanh Ha made the bricks, roof tiles and floor slabs of the old town, while Kim Bong’s craftsmen carved its wooden houses and built its boats.

Travel between the two villages by wooden boat on the Thu Bon River and watch both crafts still at work today.

• • Return by boat to Bach Dang wharf
